macOS support is here! (well, kind of.)

Hiya!

Recently I learnt that macOS builds can be built from Window. So here's a (experimental) macOS build! It should work on both Intel and Apple Silicon macs, however you must be :

• (Intel) on macOS 10.12 or higher
• (Apple Silicon) on macOS 11.00 or higher

I don't have a mac, so I cannot test if this build works or not. Please let me know in the comments!

When you run ACEDIA, you may encounter this:

This is because ACEDIA is unsigned ("not notarized"). It is perfectly safe.
Apple requires a $100 yearly membership fee to have the privilege of getting software inspected for malware. I'm not paying 100 dollars a year to get a free game verified, so ACEDIA is unsigned on macOS, and macOS will display this scary warning.

Please search online on how to bypass this warning. It's perfectly safe to do so.

Usually, when you see this dialog after opening ACEDIA, click done, then go to system preferences, security, and at the bottom you should see an option to “open anyway”. Click open a few more times, and ACEDIA will launch.

ACEDIA is fully open source, so feel free to check for any malware or compile the game yourself if you don't trust the provided executable.
